The new SB500 speedlight is a very compact and lightweight source for illuminating your subject. The speedlight SB-500 is a very high performance LED flash that’s perfect for either the DX-format or FX-format DSLR. It offers brilliant illumination for close ups and movie recording in the dark.
It weighs only 273g with batteries and is portable with dimensions of just 67mm (width) x 114.5mm (height) x 70.8mm (diameter). The flash head tilts up to 90° and rotates 180° left and right, reducing your need for unnatural shading with additional accessories. Simply slot in 2 R7/AA-size batteries and you will be ready for shooting.
The flash uses 2 AA-sized batteries. Select from three output levels of LED light – low, mid, and high.
The flash has a coverage of 24mm angle of view in FX format.

In Advanced Wireless Lighting, the SB-500 can be used as a master flash or remote flash using the camera’s built in flash as a master.
When attached to the D750, the SB-500 is automatically recognized and flash settings are enabled from the camera’s custom menu. Even commander mode can be set from the camera.
