Nikon D750 Digital SLR Camera

Nikon D750

When the D750 was first rumored it was thought that it would be an excellent enhancement of the previous D700 camera, which I have used for a number of years. Now that it has been released it appears that it is really an enhanced D610 and a step up from that camera, it is a similar size and weight. Ignoring the number of pixels, I would have liked it to be similar to the D810 in camera controls and functionality but it is not. That is not saying that it is not a very nice camera. If I was choosing a camera today it would have to be the new D810 with its 36MPixels, not due to the extra pixels but because of the aditional fuctionality. But not withstanding all this, the D750 is an excellent camera and is in the class of the D610.

Nikon D750

For a photographer choosing between the D610 and the D750 the D750 will be a step up with better and expected faster focusing. and better low light metering and an improved low light ISO performance.
