Nikon, Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF ED VR AF-S Lens Review

The 70-300mm 4.5-5.6, zoom lens is an excellent lens for the price point, using, IF-ED, extra low dispersion (ED) glass, silent wave motor and vibration reduction, VRII.

Two switchable focus modes are available, M/A and M. The lens uses a nine blede rounded diaphram for excellent bokeh.

This lens is aimed at the amateur photographer seeking good value at the price point and it does give good value.

Images are sharp with good image quality and the VR functionality makes this lens quite useful. This lens is sharper at the shorter focal lengths and perhaps not so sharp between 200 to 300mm. The lens is nice and compact and easy to handle.
